As much as I love the cingular service. I have to say this is one really lousy phone. The PTT feature is great. However when you make a regular call the sound quality is horrid. It is so hard to hear the people talking to you. I have friends that have this LG F7200 cell phone and have the same issue. So I know it is not just my phone, - by Cheeky -- March 14th 2006 -- PM, PA

The Nextel i870 phone rocks. It never ever ran out on me. Also I think it is better than i860 - by carlos -- November 10th 2005 -- paterson, NJ

The Nextel i870 is a bit on the fat side, but what Nextel phone isn't. It has great screen resolution, picture quality, and overall build. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again. Thanks LetsTalk.com - by Bryant -- November 21st 2005 -- Fort Lauderdale, FL

The Nextel i870 is a great phone! It took me a while to figure out the mp3 player but it rocks. The battery life is what blows. It won't even last 8 hrs at minimal use. I guess I better get the upgraded battery. Overall the phone is great! - by SHUNE SHAMAN -- March 14th 2006 -- ROCKMART, GA

I have the 7100i for Nextel. Switched from the 7520, which I went through 4 of them. This is best phone, I have ever owned. It beats the 7520 hands down. Reception is better, the screen is awesome, the sure type is taking some getting use to, but in time will be much faster than the full qwerty keyboard. The complaints I read here and other sites, seem to be from people who do not read the help files. Or, they are new BB users who haven't learned the quirks with them. The only reason call quality doesn't get a 5, is the speaker, and headset volume are a little lower than previous models. But this perfect phone, does more than make up for it. Thanks rim. - by Matty -- March 20th 2006 -- Purlear, NC

I recently switched from Cingular to T-Mobile in the Salt Lake Valley. The coverage seems to be much better, I have not had a dropped call yet. As for the phone itself, I prefer it over the 7290 any day of the week. It is smaller, response time is faster, still has a full keypad(ish), but the predictive text works great after a few minutes of practice. Web-browsing has gone very smoothly. I would definitely suggest this phone to anyone who likes blackberries. It does have limited third party applications, but that is the nature of Blackberry, it is not meant to be a Palm. I have not had any reboot issues. The only problem is visibility of the screen out in the sun. - by Mike Scott -- August 18th 2005 -- Salt Lake City, UT

It is a great business tool far as keeping records.. I love the email feature. I would say once you have a BlackBerry you wonder what life was like without it. - by Vince -- February 23rd 2006 -- St. Louis, MO

Hi,just got the blackberry 7100i a few days ago. Nice hand set like the way its made but sometimes hard to hear ..whats up w that?lol! A lot of people are saying that about this phone. Plus about the phone great business tool far as keeping record.. I love the email feature. The bad, need better phones so I can hear my clients in noisy areas, need loud ring tones, need mp3 or wasv ring tone which it doesn't support and they need more apps for free download . Better ones so can use my files on .efiles a little pricey. Other than that ok phone. - by jibril -- February 10th 2006 -- richmond, VA

Samsung MM-A940 user reviews
I have owned 4 cell phones in 4 years, 3 of which were Samsung, so I really, really like Samsung. That being said...I do not like the Samsung sph-a940 . Although it is jam-packed with features, including sprint's new network, it fails to excel at anything. It would seem that sprint wanted a phone to catch everyone attention rather than actually perform. Why is it so terrible? *the camera is 2mp, but it always takes terrible pictures. I even tried tweaking the settings and still it was horrid. *the twist design is very, very prone to breaking and will not be covered even under sprint's phone insurance. *battery life is not anything to brag about, since there is an mp3 player, camera, and external speakers...you need a battery to match...this phone fails *for some odd reason, Samsung but trans flash/microsd cards in this phone as opposed to the minisd cards found in sanyos. What's the big deal? Transflash/minisd is only expandable to 512mb while minisd can expand out to 1gb (twice as much)! I got this phone as a Christmas gift and was really, really upset when I discovered just how terrible it was. I returned it immediately and talked to sprint about it (especially the notoriously terrible 2mp camera) and they said they knew nothing. I called again and talked to people who also owned the phone (and hate it) and they all agree--the camera is a huge failure. Check out other ratings on cnet.com and even pcmag and you will see that this phone has so many features that it looks like Samsung dipped its hands into too many pots and now everything is just mediocre. Do not buy this phone. ***my dad bought the Samsung a920 and it has all the same features, but better battery, and pictures quality (although only a 1.3mp)...that phone is absolutely...amazing...we still recommend Samsung as a phone company, just not this phone*** - by Chris Lynch -- December 31st 2005 -- Tampa, FL

The Samsung SPH-A940 is am amazing phone, with all of the features you would ever need in a phone. There a a few faults that you will have to live with though. The camera does take good pictures, if you are able to hold it perfectly still, and get the subject to remain still for about 4 seconds. Otherwise you get a blurry picture. The built in flash is very bright, not just a simple LED light. I have Sprint Power Vision, and the movie trailers, and TV channels all play in great quality, as long as you are in a power vision spot, they still play with just PCS Vision, but the quality is about the same as watching a flip book with sound. The built in MP3 player is great, the sound is not perfect while playing it through the phone (It plays through the speakerphone). It is very loud though, but plug in the included Stereo headset, and the sound is amazing. Plus the included memory card can be upgraded to 512MB, so you can store plenty of music on it. The pones speaker is very clear, I actually have to turn the volume down a few notches because it is so loud. Same with the speakerphone, but if you turn it up to loud the sound gets distorted a little, and it becomes a little hard to understand the caller. As for call quality, it all depends where your at, but I can say, for the past 3 weeks I had this phone, I have never had to have anyone repeat anything because I lost reception, I have never dropped a call either. I could go on and on, but there is so much, like Bluetooth, Media Player, On Demand, and the camcorder....it's all so great. I would have to agree that the price is the only bad thing about this phone now. Other than that, it's a great phone - by J. Sedlacek -- December 23rd 2005 -- Valparaiso, IN

This phone's strongest point is the swivel design. Samsung SPH-A940 looks fantastic. It comes with a 32 MB Trans flash card, the max size they have now is 512, so don't make this your new IPOD. In fact, the music capabilities could be better. The phone on standby lasts for hours, but once you start playing music, your battery disappears. There is no way you could go on for 2 + hrs with the music on. Also you can't use songs as ringtones, which is TERRIBLE. The 2.0 is nothing to be proud about. What I would do is wait a few months till the price goes down (which it will, there is nothing that exceptional about the phone) and then buy - by Ravi S -- December 5th 2005 -- Brooklyn, NY

This Samsung SPH-A920 phone is fantastic, even though the battery life has a talk time of about 3 hours, it has an awesome internal antenna that gets great reception. The MP3's are awesome because you can just put what ever kind of music you have already in your computer with the MicroSD memory card. The speakers are very loud and the ring tones are also loud and clear. - by Gilbert -- March 5th 2006 -- Weslaco, TX

Nokia 6682 phone User Reviews:
The Nokia 6682 cell phone is absolutely the greatest phone out on the market. The phone has a very "sick" design with numerous functions. The speaker on this phone is equivalent to that of a Dolby digital surround sound system. The camera on this phone acts as quite an efficient digital camera. Trust me, you"ll be far amazed at what else this Nokia. The Nokia 6682 is quite far ahead of its time and I strongly suggest the purchase of such a product. - by Safat Islam -- September 20th 2005 -- Revere, MA

The Nokia 6682 is a awesome phone and mp3 player. Great reception, easy to use, good speaker phone and can take calls while listening to headset without disconnecting the headset. After the call, you can go right back to music. Upgraded to 512 DUAL VOLTAGE memory card. Can assign mp3 songs to individuals. Has too may features for comment . Phone is "brick"-like, but between bluetooth headset, and included headset, size is not an issue. Love it. - by P barrett -- December 3rd 2005 -- Jax, FL

Nokia 6682 cell phone is simply great. The signal reception is really awesome. I feel this is one of the best phones from Nokia as all the features are pretty nice including the music player camera etc etc. So far I have faced no problem with this phone at all but the only flaw I feel is that the camera sliding cover which has become a bit loose since I started using it. Apart from that the piece is really good. - by srikar -- February 27th 2006 -- peoria, IL

I enjoyed the Nokia 6682 while I had it. It had great features, camera took excellent pictures. I especially liked the ability to put in more information (more phone numbers, addresses and e-mail addresses) than just a name and a couple of phone numbers, and can install a larger memory chip to hold more data. A couple of things that I did not like was that it froze (locked) up four times in the three weeks that I had it. I had to turn the phone off and on for it to work again. It was like rebooting a computer. Also, I wish it produced larger photos instead of thumbnail photos for photo IDs when calls are made or received. My previous phone was able to do that. I have now returned the phone because it was locked up. I will re-enter another review when I receive my exchange phone in the next day or so. - by Duane -- December 27th 2005 -- Elk Grove, CA

This is my favorite phone that is out right now. Why you ask? Because you no longer just have windows at home. You get to bring this along with you anywhere. This phone has windows mobile. Just like windows you have word, outlook, media player, internet explorer, and msn messenger. This already makes it good. But, no it gets better. You have a very high quality camera that takes pictures and records videos. But, no I'm not just done yet. This phone has already 64mb of memory store on it. But, then you get to use any sd or mmc card to store different things. All the way up to 512mb. That means more space for your mp3s,videos, pics and applications. Thats all folks for my favorite phone that is out. - by ShinGouki9999 -- January 28th 2005 -- Greensboro, NC

I am a Motorola loyal user and this phone is one of the best they ever made. - by DAVE O -- December 26th 2004 -- GREENBELT, MD

Of course I thought this phone was a little pricey. Now that I've had the Motorola MPx220 cell phone for a little over one year, wouldn't you know it, it decides not to work. I couldn't get insurance because it wasn't offered. So now I'm stuck having to purchase another phone outright. That sucks! - by D -- March 7th 2006 -- lithonia, GA
